Hey New York

dailybugleparker:

I’ve missed you. How’ve you been? You’ve gotten kind of crazy while I was away. But don’t worry, we’ll be making beautiful music together very soon.

Hey kid. Been too long. Sorry about the vanishing act.

dailybugleparker replied to your post: Huh. Tony Stark, having to tell the truth? Wow, how’s that for sobriety? This’ll be a good lesson, no snark intended there. What the hell did you just say?

dailybugleparker:

iron-liver:

Fuck me with a wrench.

SHE ASKED I ANSWERED.

I don’t care. You really think that? How dare you. I look up to you like a father, and you think I’m “too good” for the woman I love? Are you trying to drive everyone that ever cared about you away? Because you’re doing a great job.

Yes….and..

It’d be easier to drive them away then to recklessly murder them again.

or fucking not as the case may be.

dailybugleparker replied to your post: dailybugleparker replied to your post: I didn’t want to take advantage of this, but I have to know. I’m sorry Tony. I…I was curious. If you don’t want to tell you don’t have to. What do you really think about me?

This is cruel and unusual, Parker and I’ll keep it in mind..

You’re a good kid. Smart as a whip and fucking talented in ways I’ve only ever (until myrecent upgrade) Have dreamed of being. I feel guilty whenever I see you struggle for rent but I know it’d be fucked up to give you a handout so I’ve been leaning on Jonah to pay you better.

Fuck. I hope one day to have kids so they can be like you.

Thats not to say you arent a smartmouthed little shit but so am I.

Hospital— Split

dailybugleparker:

Peter flipped onto the floor with a soft tap. He gave Tony a friendly nudge on the shoulder, trying his best to stifle his laughter from the middle aged business man’s reaction.

“Relax, man, it’s just the friendly neighborhood Spider Man. I was here to check and see about Bobbi, but then I saw the look on your face and wondered what was up. You look like you just found out that Jarvis deleted something important accidentally.”

Tony relaxed signifcantly as Peter flipped down, catching himself and rubbing the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger.

“Yeah. Yeah I know. Heh.. Take a glance in that room there and tell me who’s in there with her.” He offered after a long pause, not knowing exactly how to tell Peter a cross-dimensional future teenage offspring of Clint Barton and Bobbi Morse was visiting her.

“You take a good look and tell me who you think that is, and then you might maybe get why I look like I do.” He babbled slightly, making a face. “Jesus christ. What happened to today? I was just going to go for a walk.”

Hospital— Split

dailybuglepaker:

Peter Parker had just gotten off work at the Bugle and was working his way to Bellvue Medical Center. He had taken Bobbi there after his encounter with Ivan Vanko and owed her a visit. Despite the fact that the hospital probably had his real name down on the approved visitors list, he chose to go as Spider Man, since they would immediately recognize him from when he first brought Bobbi.

He bounced off an awning, doing a front flip in the air just before swinging his way into an open second floor window. After having to sign an autograph for the small child in the room the he swung into, he found himself walking the hallway until he saw Tony’s familiar figure leaning against the wall, finishing up a flask of something. He jumped onto the ceiling, crawling over to Tony and slipping upside down on a webline until he was eye level with Tony.

“Hey man.”

Tony capped the chrome canister and slid it into his pocket as discreetly as possible, turning his attention down the hall as he heard a child giggle, he drew his arm up and wiped the sweat from his brow, sighing. Jesus, he didn’t expect today to turn out like it had.  He turned his attention infront of himself down another darkened hospital hallway, the sour scent of antiseptic enhanced by the burning taste of alcohol in his throat.  Then suddenly there was a face infront of him and he jerked back like when Bobbi hurled her stick at him, slamming himself back against the wall.

“JESUS Fuck-!” He spewed, then clutched his chest, panting, and crouched slightly with a sigh. “Uhgh.. Hey, man.. Lets play a game where we don’t give Tony Stark a premature heart-attack.”

Bound in Lightning: Can Tony Come Out to Play?

Peter had been attempting to do some sewing on his red and blue suit, but was not having very much luck. He never was very talented with sewing, despite Aunt May teaching him everything she knew. He set the needle down after the fifth time it pricked his finger when his phone began to go off. He looked over at the screen, Tony’s number. He was pretty surprised that Tony was calling him, considering how guilty the guy had been recently.

“Hey Tony, what’s going on?” He asked, between bandaging his fingers.

“There’s a bit of a situation I can’t handle right now becuase of things we talked about before..” he trailed, shifting uncomfortably in his seat. “And I know it’s not like me, but I need it handled..” He paused, clicking his teeth and considering the situation.

“Can you come to the lab? I need to brief you.” He didn’t want to tell him over the phone. “Bring the suit.”

Peter’s eyes went wide as he listened to Tony speak. Clearly something was very wrong if he was telling Peter he needed to brief him. The fact that Tony requested he bring the new suit was the biggest red flag. After applying one more band-aid to his left index finger, he ran to the closet and grabbed the Iron Spider armor, slipping it on in nearly no time.

By this time, Peter had a route that he would take to Stark Tower memorized, so it didn’t take him too long to reach the large building with the Stark name emblazoned across the top. He climbed into the living room window, dashing into the lab and peeling off his mask as soon as he arrived.

“What’s wrong, Tony? I get the feeling that something’s up.”

“I just got an interesting phone call.”  Tony responded with false ease as me came around a large suit with his welding goggles still on, his fingers twiched as he set down the torch.

“From Bobbi Morse’s phone. I got a tip that SHIELD’s on their way here, and I don’t have much time to talk, but I need you to do something for me.” He paused, eyeing the kid. He didn’t need this aggravation.

“Bobbi’s been kidnapped by this piece of scum, Ivan Vanko. I need you to stop him.  He’s out for my blood but with SHIELD en route, I can’t necessarily take care of this myself.” He put his hands forward palms up in a somewhat pleading gesture, before nodding towards a flashdrive in his computer. “There’s all his information that I have thus far on file, if you plug this in it should brief you on his abilities on the way over… if you’re willing to do this.”

Peter quickly pulled his mask back on and took the flash drive, plugging it into one of the ports hidden in the arm of his suit. Instantly a stream of files containing information on Ivan Vanko flashed in front of Pete’s eyes on the display. Vanko was apparently a Russian physicist who sold nukes to Iran and tried to kill Tony a few times before.

“Don’t worry, Tony. This guy’ll be unrecognizable when I get done with him.” He said confidently, handing the flash drive back to Tony once the info was done downloading.

“He may be a scary guy with a knack for electricity, but in the end, he’s still no match for Spider Man.” He said, deploying the waldoes in his suit and beginning to make his way out of the lab.

Tony chuckled and saluted Peter, shouting after him as he made his way out.

//Incoming ETA is Four minutes, sir.// Jarvis announced aloud and Tony waved vaguely in the air, returning to his work station. “Might wanna take the side door, Pete.” He cheered behind the kid.

“That doesnt give me much time, does it?” He snickered despite himself, and kicked the torch back into gear.
